Edward Moody joined WCCO as a reporter and weekend anchor in August 2012. Before that, he worked as a morning anchor in Duluth, Minn. and the people of East Central Minnesota came to love him in both markets. Edward has covered everything from the Red Lake school shootings in northern Minnesota to the disappearance of IU student Lauren Spierer. He has interviewed such notables as Caroline Kennedy, Operation Desert Storm commander Gen. Norman Schwarzkopf and Martin Luther King III.
He will emcee this year’s pride festivities which begin at Noon, Sunday, June 1.
The band lineup is set and Esera Tuaolo will return to perform at Pride for its tenth anniversary. Last year, he sang for the first time on-stage his solo hit “Stronger”. This year, the former Minnesota Viking is expected to energize the crowd with that hit and more!
New to the pride lineup is the bluegrass band Hey Lonesome! Check out their website here for more info.
